On the occasion of the upcoming 80th anniversary of Hefei University of Technology, Chairman Cao Renxian personally donated 100 million RMB to his alma mater via the Sungrow Foundation to support the university’s discipline development and talent cultivation. Yu Xiangcheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hefei University of Technology, President Zheng Lei, Deputy Party Secretary Yan Fuping, and other university leaders attended the donation ceremony.

As an entrepreneur who graduated from the School of Electrical Engineering at Hefei University of Technology, alumnus Cao Renxian has always maintained a deep sense of gratitude and sustained heartfelt concern and support for his alma mater’s educational endeavors. Over the decades, he has continuously established the Sungrow Scholarship to support the growth and development of students at Hefei University of Technology and has consistently supported the university’s industry-academia-research collaborations. This donation serves as both a tribute to his alma mater and a sincere expression of giving back to education, while also demonstrating a commitment to social responsibility through public welfare.

At the event, Chairman Cao Renxian shared his entrepreneurial journey and insights from leading his team over the past 28 years, engaging warmly with younger students. He stated, “In the current landscape, enterprises require globally competent, versatile talent, as well as digital, innovative, and high-potential management talent. This demands that we, as engineering professionals, focus on our expertise and delve deeply into research, while also thinking systematically and innovating across boundaries.
